What Is It?
Superstitious Storage is a project from my Sophomore year Rapid Prototyping class. We're given teams of ~8 and 3 weeks to create prototypes to expand on in our Junior year Game Production II class.

Superstitious Storage is a game that gives the player the simple task of putting a box on the right shelf in a warehouse. However, they must do so without interacting with the classic bad luck omens surrounding them. Should they make eye contact with the constantly moving black cat, look in a broken mirror, or walk under a ladder that moves every time the player isn't looking at it, their luck will plummet. Players must put 3 boxes away with their luck intact to survive their shift.
What Is My Role?
As the producer of Superstitious Storage, I worked to make sure that we had time to fail and iterate so that our prototype could be the best it could be.

My responsibilities include:
-
Delegating tasks
-
Road mapping
-
Run daily stand-ups
-
Presented progress to professor
-
Playtesting
-
Giving feedback
-
Maintained Trello
-
Promoting iteration

The focus for these prototypes was to create small but fun gameplay loops that could be expanded on. While we found this gameplay loop fun, we ultimately found it hard to expand on.
